How to use Mirage:
Make sure you’re inside (visionOS room tracking does not work outside or in very large spaces, like warehouses) and tap “Reimagine My Room” to enter an immersive space
Choose from one of the available mirages
Use the toggle to turn on or off your real-world: floors, walls, and ceilings
When visionOS recognizes you’ve moved to a different room, you can set a mirage for that new room
When you’re done, feel free to tap “Hide Immersive Space”
Available mirages:
Cherub: take to the skies as clouds float around you
Hey Man: teleport somewhere…else
Only Happy: relax in a rainstorm
Notes:
Mirage uses visionOS’s ARKit to guess where your floors, walls, and ceilings are, and to guess when you’ve moved between rooms. visionOS room tracking is new and will be updated in future versions of visionOS. Mirage cannot update the underlying room tracking technology, that is for future versions of visionOS to implement. Room tracking works best in regular, box-shaped rooms.
visionOS only allows one ARKit app to run at a time, so other apps cannot run while Mirage has an immersive space open.
Vision Pro sensors cannot see as far as your eyes, if you notice room tracking is not understanding where your walls are, try moving closer to allow room tracking a chance to see them.
Some mirages may be unsuitable for people who are photosensitive or have other health issues.
